![]() If you're really bored, you could read about my experiments with. I've only used their versions of standard Note that this uses Telerik controls, but you could probably just change them for the standard ones if that causes you any problems. I want to be able to set the initial size of the modal window, and can't find a way to do it.ĭoes that make it any clearer? In case it helps, here is the XAML for the window. Alt + space bar and I was able to resize the window. Removed and reinstalled the program problem was still there. I shut off the computer without saving, problem was still there when I restarted. My problem is that this modal window gets set to the same size as the parent window, which is far too large. Thanks I accidentally maximized a window within a program, and it didn’t have a resize icon on it. When you double-click an item in the data grid, it opens a modal window showing info about that item. There are tools around that can help you reduce or increase the size of windows that normally don't give the option to do so, or set a window to a preset dimension. The situation is that I have a main window that has a data grid that displays info. However, I realised that all I need to do is set the Width and Height of the window, and these will be used as the initial values. Sorry, I don't think I made myself clear at the start, mainly because I didn't think it was part of the issue. I swapped the two around, ie made your modal window the one that appears by default, and your main window the one that appears when you click the button, and got the same problem as I had.
